2oak: Textile Paradise

Playa Makaha, a beautiful stone beach in the heart of Lima,  is the scenery where we wanted to show you the next part of our textile paradise. Vibrant colors and lighter textiles invited us to create our 2 oak collection for this summer, where reds, oranges, pinks and touches of greens are very present in the whole collection. The meaning of this colors that are also found in the wiphala flag are the red representing the earth (akapacha), the orange represents society and culture, yellow represents energy (ch`ama-pacha), green represents economy and wealth, and violet represents politics. The vibrant colors of all these vintage peruvian fabrics laying on top of the gray stones are for us a great  example of the beauties of Peru, always full of colorful contrasts.
